The past several days have been crazy. And from reading the title, I bet you can tell why.
Your girl got quarantined.
Aht! Aht! Before you think that I got the infamous COVID-19, think again. I said quarantined—not isolated.
Isolation separates sick people with a contagious disease from people who are not sick. Quarantine separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick. (Thanks, CDC!)
So, based on contact tracing, I was put on quarantine; but I feel fine, and all is well. Praise the Lord!
This kind of threw me off my routine, so last week’s video about when to make your side hustle your full-time job wasn’t even filmed nor published. I’ll post it in the future.
And this week, I’m juggling my husband’s birthday with my mounting “to-do” list before the Thanksgiving Break.
Speaking of, let’s talk about these upcoming holiday plans, shall we?
Since these COVID-19 cases are rising, what do you feel about your family-gathering plans?
Will you be:
A. Holding a big family gathering anyways because you feel it’s your American right,
B. Limiting your gathering to 10 or fewer people who aren’t showing symptoms, or
C. Calling off a gathering and making yet another virtual event.
I actually do want to know the answer to this (as if I don’t want to know about the other questions I pose). HA!
How is this pandemic going to change your holiday plans?
Thanksgiving is just the test run. I’m anxious to see how these case numbers will look around Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Sounds very spiky to me…
Anyways, I won’t be posting next week because I’m taking a break. I’ll be back in December, though. Stay safe out there!
