I’m a Nigerian-American girl who knows that I have many faults and flaws, but that doesn’t stop me from striving to be better every day. (Some days are better than others.) I started chronicling my journey to waist-length texlaxed hair, but found out that there are so many other things to say. So, here I am!
A little bit of background…
I’m originally from Maryland, but my family and I moved to Texas. I love my mom and dad, my sister is one of my best friends, and I wouldn’t trade my brothers for the world. I met my wonderful husband in college; we got married a couple years after graduation; and three months later, I found out I was preggers with my first son. Three years later, we had another one.
So, this blog basically picks up from where my life stopped being so self-centered and started becoming real with new responsibilities. Everything from marriage, to pregnancy, to motherhood, and balancing a career. Of course you’ll still get the latest on my hair journey; and sometimes I’ll fill you in on my random thoughts/ideas that float around in my head.
Stay tuned or drop me a note on the contact page. I’d love to hear from you! 🙂
