“OMG! Less than three months left! Are you putting the final touches on your son’s nursery?” Ummm.. if you mean have I bought a couple bags of diapers, then yes!

This is basically what I expect my “nursery” to look like.

Should I feel bad that we’re not even having a nursery? We’re going to move our bed over, add a convertible crib and changer/dresser combo, and turn the dining room area into a little baby play area. (We live in a one-bedroom condo, so don’t judge me!)

Even if I did have an extra room, I seriously don’t think newborns need all that extra fluff that moms-to-be get so caught up in buying. Half of the time, the baby ends up sleeping in the parent’s room anyways, so what gives?

Of course, we’ll be a bit cramped, but I think all of that will be the least of our worries once little man comes.

In my defense, we have a baby shower coming up this weekend, so we’ll start shopping for everything once we see what everybody graciously gave us. 🙂
