Officially a (Tired) Working Mom

0 Permalink 1

I got through my first week back at work after my maternity leave. It wasn’t as bad as I expected.

Working MomsThere is a LOT of work for me to do, but I don’t really mind that. What I do mind? The early mornings and long commutes. ๐Ÿ˜ก

I wake up every morning at 4 a.m. (Yes, there’s a 4 a.m.) Then, I get ready and leave the house so I can get to work by 7-ish.

No, my job isn’t two hours away, but I have to drop my son off at my parents’ house (on the other side of town), then head to work (which is on the WAY other side of town). ๐Ÿ˜

I’m tired just thinking about it, but you know why I don’t mind doing it?

Well for starters, I know my son is getting the best childcare there is for the best price (lol), all while spending time with family. Also, I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so the only days to loathe are Tuesday through Thursday. ๐Ÿ™

Having the flexi-schedule definitely helps. To all you working moms who have stricter times to adhere to, God bless you.

So yes, I’m back on the grind and seeing how many plates I can continue to spin at one. Let’s just hope one of them doesn’t fall… ๐Ÿ˜‰
