Hope

Hello, I’m Hope.

If you’re reading this, chances are you were dragged here from my YouTube, Twitter, or Instagram page. Thanks for stopping by! Hmmm… where to start?

I’m a Nigerian-American girl who knows that I have many faults and flaws, but that doesn’t stop me from striving to be better every day. (Some days are better than others.) I started chronicling my journey to waist-length texlaxed hair, but found out that there are so many other things to say. So, here I am!

A little bit of background…

I’m originally from Maryland, but my family and I moved to Texas. I love my mom and dad, my sister is one of my best friends, and I wouldn’t trade my brothers for the world. I met my wonderful husband in college; we got married a couple years after graduation; and three months later, I found out I was preggers with my first son. Three years later, we had another one. My third son came two years later.

So, this blog basically picks up from where my life stopped being so self-centered and started becoming real with new responsibilities. Everything from marriage, to pregnancy, to motherhood, and balancing a career. Of course you’ll still get the latest on my hair journey; and sometimes I’ll fill you in on my random thoughts/ideas that float around in my head.

Stay tuned or drop me a note on the contact page. I’d love to hear from you! 🙂
